Clay (hamstring) was limited at practice Wednesday, the Dolphins' official site reports.

Analysis: With no reported Week 15 setbacks, we suspect that Clay's status for Sunday's game against the Vikings is not in danger, but we'll track his status for that contest in the coming days, nonetheless.

The Indianapolis Colts defense draws a Week 16 road matchup with the high-powered Dallas Cowboys offense.

Analysis: While the Indy defense is coming off a strong showing against a Houston Texans team that was down to its No. 3 quarterback, the Colts have struggled against the league's better offenses this season, and the Cowboys undoubtedly qualify as a part of that group. Even with the benefit of a relatively healthy roster, the Indy defense may be in for a long day. However, Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray (hand) remains uncertain for the contest, after undergoing surgery to repair a broken bone on Monday.

Thomas (knee) did not practice Wednesday, the Dolphins' official site reports.

Analysis: Thomas, who carried twice for five yards and caught two passes for 20 yards in Week 15's loss to the Patriots, is off the fantasy radar in most cases, but if he is unable to to suit Sunday against the Vikings, LaMichael James could enter the team's backfield depth mix in Week 16.

Houston Texans outside linebacker Whitney Mercilus (back) was limited at Wednesday's practice, after missing Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, the Texans' official website reports.

Analysis: The Houston defense held Andrew Luck in check, yet the team still finds itself on the brink of elimination. While most of the focus is on a Houston offense that's down to its fourth quarterback, the defense will also face a stiff challenge in Week 16, as the Baltimore Ravens have arguably their best offense in the John Harbaugh/Joe Flacco era. The Texans could use Mercilus' assistance, but the former first-round draft pick isn't a true difference-maker.

    • Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall (foot)...

Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall (foot) is considered day-to-day, while fellow linebacker Danny Trevathan (knee) is expected to miss the rest of the season, the Broncos' official website reports.

Analysis: Coming off a breakout season, Trevathan essentially lost his entire 2014 campaign to injuries. Marshall's emergence allowed Denver to fill the void, but it now seems the team is in danger of facing the Cincinnati Bengals without either player present. While the Broncos defense still has plenty of talent, the matchup isn't a great one, especially with the game being played in Cincinnati. The Bengals offense hasn't been consistent, but it's overall performance has been right around league-average.
